From early May through to October we can travel to the northernly tip of Vancouver Island to have a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the wild Grizzly Bear.
For this excursion we will be staying in an eco-friendly lodge that is located in the Great Bear Rainforest. This area is one of the BEST places in the world to observe Grizzly (brown) bears, and many other forms of wildlife including Black Bears, Wolves, & Bald Eagles. The hosts at the lodge have been rated by National Geographic Adventure as one of the "Best Adventure Travel Companies" on Earth.
This is the perfect experience for any skill level of rider. You may choose a family and kids ride, or regular ride, with the option of Western or English equipment.
Rides are fully customizable and could include anything from scenic trails to stunning beaches to rolling farmland.

This junior 5 cylinder more environmentally version of the Hummer seats 5 adults very comfortably with lots of interior room. It cruises nicely on the highway yet eats up any back-road trail, or logging road I have taken it on.

The best time of year for orca whale watching on Vancouver Island is April through October. The Juan de Fuca and Haro Straits are home to three Resident orca whale pods, called J, K and L pods, which total nearly 100 orca.
